1. Your application must contain full details of your proposal including all of the following:
1.1 - The proposal and what you hope to achieve
1.2 - Commencing and concluding dates
1.3 - Documentation including:
1.3.1 References
1.3.2 Proposal information such as course details, as appropriate;
1.3.3 Application and acceptances for any course, etc;
1.3.4 Material concerning the institution or persons associated with your proposal.
1.3.5 Education;
1.3.6 Employment history;
1.3.7 Community involvement.
1.4 - Geographical location
1.5 - Full costing details including with the amount that is being sought.
1.6 - All other funding, including scholarships both applied for and the amount of those awarded to you.
1.7 - An indication of your difficulties in fulfilling your proposal without financial assistance.
1.8 - Your perception of the benefit that will accrue to the community as a result.
1.9 - Your personal vision of where you will be in 5 to 10 years time and how this depends on your immediate future and this scholarship

CONDITIONS OF SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
2 - Failure to provide the details set out in 1 may mean that the Scholarship Committee may not consider your application.
3 - The Scholarship program shall be taken up in the calendar year subsequent to announcement of the Scholarship or otherwise as determined by the organization.
4 - The monetary value of the Scholarship will be paid where possible to the appropriate institution or organisation and/or at the discretion of the organisation.
5 - The organisation accepts no financial responsibilities for any expenses incurred by the Scholarship awardee that are in excess of the vale of the Scholarship.
6 - The organisation may cancel or amend the Scholarship if the awardee:
6.1 - Changes the proposal;
6.2 - Fails to disclose the organisation at any time prior to the award being made other scholarships and awards.
7 - The awardee is responsible for travel arrangements and documentation
8 - The awardee is responsible for insurance to cover medical and other expenses that may arise due to sickness and/or accident.
9 - The awardee will be invited to report to or address The organisation at the completion of the program.
10 - Any publication describing the work which has been wholly or partly supported by the organisation shall make due acknowledgement to the Freemasons of South Australian and the Northern Territory through its Benevolent arms of such support.
11 - The Scholarship will be awarded preferably to a candidate who has no other source to provide the funding needed.

THE ELEMENTS OF THE SCHEME ARE AS FOLLOWS:
(a) The Scholarship is open to Australian citizens who are residents of South Australia or the Northern Territory aged between 20-30 years of age as at 30 June in the year of application.
(b) The Scholarship is open to any person wishing to obtain experience, knowledge or skill in a field of endeavour in Australia or overseas.
(c) There are no prescribed qualifications, academic or otherwise.
(d) The Scholarship will not normally be granted to applicants wishing to complete school or undergraduate studies.
(e) Preference is not given to a Freemason or to a member of his family.
(f) The value of the Scholarship shall be determined by the Foundation Board of Management who will consider
- The way in which and the extent to which the endeavour is likely to benefit the candidate and the South Australian or Northern Territory community.
- The lack of opportunity available to the candidate to pursue the endeavour by any other means.
- The number of scholarships and the value and term of each are determined by the Board of the Foundation from time to time.
(g) Applications must be received by 30 June. The Foundation’s decision on all applications will be final and no correspondence will be entered into relating to unsuccessful applicants
